Fashion Advisor.

There's few people in this world who can tell me what to wear and I would listen.

My fashion advisor:
Maria Teresa Jordan
[commonly known as my mother]

Polo shirts are timeless.
I would wear the same outfit, but shorten the jean skirt

[Hong Kong Disneyland]
By age 20, my mom has traveled all over Asia
She used to buy clothes from HK, Bangkok, & Japan

[Japan]
My siblings & I often tease her for being a hustler
She did everything from owning a salon to being a jeweler

She's always one-step ahead
Shoes & bags are her forte.
I don't even argue w/ her when she suggests on the next shoes I should get.
I don't want to mention her collection of shoes & purses because I'll just be upset that I can't have them yet.

She's taught me that style is about class and quality.

Can't wait for our next trip to the mall LOL

To Inang

To my amazing grandmother Teresita Jordan,

I cannot thank you enough for raising eleven wonderful children and taking care of all of us. You are truthfully one of the toughest and strongest person I've ever known in my life. You were the soul of our family and the one who reminded us that the love of the family was the most important love one can have. No one can ever replace you. I will remember most of all is your talent for cooking. I will never forget the feast you always prepared no matter what time of day it was. While all the little girls had barbie dolls, you bought me miniature ceramic pots so I can practice my cooking... My memories of you will fade as time goes on, but I will never forget how much you meant to me.

Mahal kita Inang. Salamat po sa lahat na ginawa nyo para sa amin. Hindi kita makakalimutan.

This house has been through wars and natural disasters, but each year it remains standing.
Without my grandparents, Inang and Daddy, I would never have known and appreciated a loving home.

RIP 6/22/10

Suburban Style

Style & fashion are often only associated with major cities.
Don't ignore suburbia.

These closeted fashionistas are often bred under these monotonous roofs just waiting to be discovered.
So to you little suburban babies, I encourage you to explore and put a show that city babies would envy.

Sexify and modernize your preppy style with key pieces city kids can't pull off.

My family's suburban style has a little edge that would make JCrew followers scratch their head:

Go in peace & serve this planet w/ some good fashion :)
